About
Why Kimberly’s Bus Adventures exists.
A school bus is a small community. Twenty children riding together for twenty minutes twice a day learn lessons about kindness, listening, inclusion, fairness, and safety that no classroom can quite replicate.
Kimberly has been at the wheel of that small community for more than twenty years. She has the jokes, the patience, the perspective, and the practical wisdom that come from really knowing children.
Kimberly’s Bus Adventures preserves that experience and turns carefully redacted, age-appropriate adaptations of her stories into interactive adventures for children in grades K–8.
What this is (and is not)
- It is a curated library of interactive stories with branching choices, narration, captions, and lesson cards for adults.
- It is not a chatbot. Children do not talk to an AI.
- It is not a tracker. We do not profile children or sell their data.
- It is not a replacement for parents, teachers, or bus drivers. It is a tool that supports them.
Where we are
The platform is in active early development. Content is being captured from Kimberly’s recordings, reviewed for privacy, and adapted into age-banded scripts. The first three pilot episodes are targeted at the 3–5 grade band, with adaptations to follow for K–2 and 6–8.
The first family pilot, classroom pilot, and district sales are gated on completing privacy, accessibility, and educator-review evidence packets. We will not ask for trust we have not yet earned.
