The short pitch
KB Adventures is a privacy-first interactive story platform for K–8 children, rooted in the authentic experiences of Kimberly, a school-bus driver with twenty-plus years on the route. Stories are written, reviewed, and approved by adults before any child ever sees them. Children play, choose, and reflect — with no chatbot, no microphone, no advertising, and no profiling.
What makes it different
- Real source material. Stories are adapted from Kimberly’s recorded interviews under a formal rights agreement, then fictionalized so no real child, school, or route appears in any released episode.
- Privacy-by-design. No child data collection. No advertising. No third-party trackers anywhere on the platform.
- Accessibility from day one. WCAG 2.2 AA is the target across the marketing site, adult portals, and child player.
- Adults stay accountable. Every episode has a seven-step approval gate (editorial, privacy, rights, age band, accessibility, QA, release) before a child sees it.
